How It All Began

I was born and raised in Florida, where BBQ is more than just food—it’s a way of life. In early 2011 our handcrafted sauces began to take shape. After years of perfecting my own Florida-style BBQ flavors, I knew I had something special. In 2015, I took a leap and hit the streets of Jacksonville with The Butt Hutt Smokehouse food truck. With a smoker full of original recipes and a dream, we fired up the pit and started serving Florida Style BBQ that people couldn’t get enough of.

Started from the bottle, now we're here!

The road wasn’t easy, but the love for great BBQ kept us going. Word spread fast, and soon we were getting recognized beyond Jacksonville. Google named us one of America’s Top 50 Food Trucks, and we were even featured on The Cooking Channel’s “Cheap Eats.” The demand for our BBQ kept growing, and it was clear we needed a permanent spot. That’s how we landed at 3210 Roosevelt Blvd, bringing the same smoked-up flavors to a place we could call home.
